Hi!	You've reached the home page of Janet V-S; most folks call me Janet (or "Ms. V-S"). I am an audiovisual and library technician at Friends School of Baltimore.

Hobbies & Interests & Links

In addition to working at Friends School, I also go to a community college in the evening. I have a masters in instructional technology but when it comes to updating myself on new technologies (such as online courses or writing HTML code for web pages), community colleges can't be beat!

I am also blessed with a large and small family. It's spread out and international so I have enjoyed visiting relatives or being in touch via emails, chats, pictures, videos, or eating their ethnic foods! (Click the torte to see one of the cities that I'm "related" to.)

I like photography and video. I am so excited about video on the web! I am tickled when I see small animations playing and am looking forward to new innovations that will allow full-fledged videos to play as well. You can try some videos out below:

Problems? Be patient. These clips sometimes take a while to load but are worth it if you've never seen video on the web. Also, there are different kinds of video files so if one doesn't work on your computer, try another. (To get other video players for your computer or for more info on video file types, click here.)

I am always interested in reading about the health field. As we get older, with kids and parents (and ourselves!), it sure comes in handy. (LII link , Yahoo link, Medline link, Consumer reports health link)
